Network Refurbishment Project

Project Definition

During Spring, 2006 we will evaluate all phyisical and virtual aspects of GCC's network. Based on that evaluation, new hardware, software and procedures will be implemented to meet the anticipated needs of the college during the next 3 to 5 years.

Project Vision

• Create a consistent collaborative electronic learning environment where students and faculty can access and share thoughts, information and resources.
• Create a consistent collaborative electronic business environment where employees can share thoughts, information and resources.
• Create a repository of the vast data resources of the college and provide access to that resource wherever and whenever necessary to meet the mission of the college
